I am Simona Guarneri
I am an Italian illustrator and architect based in Milan.
“I detached myself from the heaviness of reality, losing myself in unexpected and intimate worlds creating imaginary unconsciouses. The time that crystallizes itself, the animal world that narrates itself, as well as the colours that relate themselves, are the main themes that stimulate my mind”.
In 2009 I founded Coclodesign and since 2010 I have been collaborating with Redirectoffice |unsolicited architecture|.
In 1997 I achieved the artistic A levels, after which I went up to the college of Architecture at the University of Palermo. In 2007 I completed my studies at University: in september I enrolled in the Association of Architects. Meanwhile my university studies, I attended a professional course (from March 2003 to February 2004) to get the qualification of “Expert in research, reconstruction and restoration of archaeological finds”, awarded cum laude.
From December 2007 to July 2008 I lived in Torino to attend a master’s degree in Interior Design (“Design emotions from architecture to the ephemeral”) at IED European Institute of Design. In september 2012 I attended a professional course Web Graphic Design.
